My music tastes are eclectic

I grew up listening to the radio and my parents' record collection:  everything
from Big Band to Easy Listening to Pop.  I discovered Country, Rock, Soul,
Motown, Reggae, Hip Hop, Jazz, Heavy Metal, Gospel, Funk, Classical, Rhythm
& Blues and Opera during my school years.

My favorite music is from the '50s & '60s formative years (pre-Beatles stuff),
but I appreciate anything with a solid beat that I can dance to.

I attempted lessons on the clarinet, organ and guitar, but I did not possess the
talent to become a musician.  Instead, I appreciate all music in general.

This lifelong love of music helps me in my day-to-day job as a librarian and in
my major hobbies:  Line Dancing and working as a disc jockey.
